Chocolate has a beneficial effect on our body, because it is full of antioxidants, enhances memory, reduces the amount of bad cholesterol, and can even help in the fight against excess weight. Of course, we mean the consumption of small amounts of chocolate, one or two cubes, and not the whole chocolate.

As in all things, it is important to be moderate and not overdo it otherwise it may cause a counter-effect.

Here’s what is happens to our body when we eat a little dark chocolate.

You may not know, but some studies have shown that a cube of dark chocolate a day has a positive effect on the elasticity of the skin and can slow down the appearance of wrinkles under the eyes.

Positive Effect On The Brain

One interesting study showed that drinking two cups of hot chocolate increases blood flow to the brain (for about eight percent), thus improving memory in older people as demonstrated by solving memory tests.
